Using Loseseat

By accessing or creating an account, you agree to these terms. Loseseat is an informational service that organises public institutional records, editorial sources and experimental media-analysis signals. It is not legal, financial or political advice.

Metrics, AI and interpretation

Scores are estimates produced from the sources, time period and method identified with them. Media references, sentiment and continuity-risk signals describe patterns in coverage; they are not opinion polls, voting intentions, forecasts or claims about public opinion. Automated analysis may be incomplete or wrong and may be reviewed or corrected.

Sources and third-party content

Public pages show verified institutional records and, only where authorised, aggregate media indicators. Individual news headlines, links and editorial assessments remain restricted to authorised review areas. Official-source links may be displayed so that a mandate or institutional record can be checked at its origin.

Accounts and security

You must provide a valid email address, complete any required verification and keep your credentials private. You are responsible for activity performed through your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. Account features may be limited until verification is complete.

Messages, corrections and sources

Signed-in members may send private messages, corrections and source suggestions. Submit information in good faith, identify the country, explain the issue and provide a relevant source where possible. Do not submit material you know is false, unlawful, confidential without authority, abusive or unrelated. A submission does not create an obligation to reply or change a public record.

You permit Loseseat to store, assess and use the submitted information and source links for verification, correction, audit and improvement of the service. We do not publish your account identity merely because you submitted a correction.

Acceptable use and moderation

Do not harass or impersonate others, attempt to obtain data that is not yours, interfere with security or availability, automate abusive traffic, introduce malicious code or use the service unlawfully. We may reject submissions, close conversations, restrict features or suspend an account when reasonably necessary to protect people, evidence, security or the service. Relevant restrictions may include automated detection and human review. You may challenge a decision through the contact page.

Intellectual property

The Loseseat name, visual identity, interface, original text, software and database structure are protected to the extent permitted by law. Third-party articles, photographs, trademarks and institutional materials remain subject to their respective rights. These terms do not transfer ownership of any content.

Availability and changes

The service is under active development. Features, sources, collection intervals and provisional metrics may change, pause or be withdrawn. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, complete coverage or permanent access to third-party sources. We may update these terms and will change the date above when material revisions are made.

Responsibility and limitations

Use the service with appropriate context and verify important information at its original source. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Loseseat is not responsible for decisions based solely on provisional signals, third-party errors, unavailable links or interruptions outside its reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Privacy

Account, security and private-message data are handled as described in the Privacy Notice. Requests concerning access, correction or deletion of account data can be made through the contact page.

These terms are governed by Portuguese law, without limiting mandatory rights that apply in your country of residence. Please use the contact page first for questions, corrections or disputes so that we can assess the matter and respond where appropriate.
